Professional background

Derrick is a Tax and Advisory Director of the CA Practice PAC Group. He has over 7 years of experience in corporate taxation, corporate and digital transformation advisory for the financial services industry and companies in diversified industries. He has gained his experience from Ernst & Young (Singapore) before joining CA Practice PAC. 

Derrick has been involved in projects across various sub-sectors in the Wealth and Asset Management industry, ranging from funds set up, tax incentives for funds and fund managers, transactional due diligence to ongoing tax compliance and controversy support, as well as tax monitoring and governance controls. His experiences include advising on national income tax law, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standards (CRS), tax incentives applications, tax governance.
